COMPETITION SERIES
The Hero Down Competition Series is a readiness and performance platform built for law enforcement, military personnel, veterans, competitive shooters, and mission-driven supporters.
Through premier shooting competitions, readiness events, performance programs, mentorship, and community-based training opportunities, the Competition Series creates a structured path for competitors and first responders to sharpen skills, rebuild connection, and support the mission of the Hero Down Foundation.
Every event is built around performance and purpose: train hard, compete with standards, connect with people who understand the mission, and help support fallen and disabled heroes and their families.
Hero Down White Mountains Summit 2026
Readiness Expo • Top Shot Challenge Series • Premier Team Competition
The Hero Down White Mountains Summit is a three-day readiness-focused event bringing together law enforcement, military personnel, competitive shooters, industry partners, sponsors, vendors, and supporters in support of the Hero Down Foundation mission.
Day 1 features the public-facing Readiness Expo, capability demonstrations, vendor activations, and the individual Top Shot Challenge Series. Days 2–3 feature the premier Hero Down Team Shootout Challenge where four-person teams compete through dynamic stages designed to test communication, marksmanship, teamwork, problem solving, and execution under pressure.
HERO DOWN TEAM SHOOTOUT CHALLENGE
The Hero Down Team Shootout Challenge is the premier team-based competition within the Competition Series.
Teams of four face dynamic stages designed to test communication, marksmanship, movement, decision-making, and execution under pressure. Hosted at Ridgeline Training Center, the event leverages one of the Northeast’s most capable training environments to deliver a competition experience that goes beyond a traditional match.
The Team Shootout now anchors the Hero Down White Mountains Summit, a three-day readiness-focused event featuring a Day 1 Readiness Expo, individual Top Shot Challenge Series, sponsor activations, product demonstrations, and the premier Days 2–3 team competition.

Since 2021, the event has helped veterans, law enforcement officers, and their families by donating more than $100,000 in critical support and resources. It builds lasting connections, strengthens hard skills, and unites competitors across the military, law enforcement, and civilian shooting communities.
Our mission is unwavering:
To support violently injured officers, wounded veterans, and their families through peer networks, performance-based training access, and strong community partnerships.

NEW ENGLAND TRIPLE CROWN THROWDOWN SERIES
The New England Triple Crown Throwdown Series is a multi-event competition designed to test shooters across varied ranges, conditions, and stage designs throughout the Northeast. Unlike single-match formats, the Triple Crown rewards consistency, adaptability, and preparation across an entire season.
Each match stands on its own while contributing to the overall series, challenging competitors to perform at a high level regardless of environment or venue. The series brings together law enforcement, military, and civilian shooters in a professional, standards-driven competitive setting.
Beyond performance, the Triple Crown strengthens the Hero Down mission by building regional community, developing mentorship opportunities, and creating meaningful pathways for veterans and officers to train, compete, and reconnect. It is competition with continuity – and purpose beyond the scorecard.
HERO DOWN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU PROGRAM
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu plays a critical role in the Hero Down Competition Series by developing control, composure, and decision-making under pressure. For law enforcement officers and veterans, BJJ provides a training environment that builds physical capability while sharpening mental resilience and emotional regulation.
Through structured training, open mats, and competition-based progression, participants develop confidence in close-contact scenarios, improve injury prevention, and strengthen overall readiness. Just as importantly, the mats become a place of community – where rank, background, and past experience give way to mutual respect and shared growth.
Hero Down’s BJJ programming supports both active officers and veterans by reinforcing discipline, accountability, and purpose. What begins as physical training quickly becomes a tool for recovery, confidence-building, and long-term wellbeing.
COMMUNITY-DRIVEN SUPPORT NETWORK
At the core of every Hero Down event is the belief that community saves lives.
Each series fosters:

Camaraderie
Service members, officers, and civilians train, compete, and grow side by side—rebuilding the sense of purpose and brotherhood often lost after service.

Mentorship
Ranked shooters coach officers and veterans, creating pathways for growth within the sport and beyond.

Connection
Competitors gain access to peer support, industry professionals, and a growing network dedicated to improving mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
Improving Quality of Life Through Purpose
For many veterans and first responders, competition becomes far more than sport:
- It restores structure.
- It rebuilds confidence.
- It strengthens mental health.
- It reconnects them to a community that understands their experiences.
The Hero Down Competition Series transforms competitive shooting into a vehicle for healing, growth, and purpose.
